Graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA), Military Medical Faculty in 1991, Prof.Dr.Atila Iyisoy completed his compulsory service as Erdek Naval Command Continental Medical Officer in 1991-1992 and TCG Turgut Reis Frigate Medical Officer in 1992-1994. He completed his residency at the Cardiology Clinic of GATA Hospital in 1994-1998 and became a cardiology specialist. After being appointed to the GATA Cardiology Clinic as a cardiologist specialist in 1999, he worked as the responsible physician of the hemodynamics laboratory.
Prof.Dr.Iyisoy was sent to Cleveland Clinic Heart Center to work in the field of intravascular coronary ultrasound (IVUS) and interventional cardiology as a scholarship in 2000-2001, Prof.Dr.Murat Tuzcu and Prof.Dr.He worked with Steven Nissen. Upon his return to Turkey, he started to work as the head of the Coronary Intensive Care Unit of GATA Cardiology Clinic. March April 2004 he was awarded the title of assistant professor and in April 2004 he was awarded the title of associate professor.
After serving as a GATA Cardiology Coronary Intensive Care Responsible Faculty Member in 2004-2013, he served as the Head of GATA Cardiology AD between 2013-2016. She retired from the Turkish Armed Forces in April 2021 and started working at LIV Ankara Hospital. He also left LIV Hospital in December 2022 and started accepting patients in his private practice.
Prof. who speaks English well.Dr.Iyisoy also holds an ECFMG certificate (USA medical certificate). He has participated in numerous national and international scientific courses and meetings as a trainer, speaker and panelist. There are more than 300 publications, oral presentations and presentations published in national and international journals. He works as an Editor, Editorial Board Member and Referee in National and International journals.
