Assoc. Prof. Deniz AKSU ARICA

He was born in Ankara on 02.07.1978. After completing his primary and secondary education at Ankara Private Yükseliş College, he started his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1995 and completed it in 2001. He continued his specialization training in the Department of Dermatology at the same university. He was entitled to become a Skin and Venereal Diseases Specialist in 2007. After fulfilling his State Service Obligation at Rize Education and Research Hospital, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 2010. He took part in the establishment of the Dermatological Surgery and Cosmetology Units within the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2019. He is married and has one child. He currently serves as the Department Head and a faculty member at the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine. His main areas of interest are psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, skin cancers, nail diseases, skin and nail surgery, laser treatments and other cosmetic applications.
